Vilnius-Tel Aviv direct flights resume after suspension

Direct scheduled flights between Vilnius and Tel Aviv resumed on Thursday after a suspension by airlines due to the conflict in the Middle East.

Israeli carrier Israir restarted direct services between the two cities on the evening of May 14. Flights will operate three times a week during the summer aviation season, according to Lithuanian Airports.

Additionally, a new carrier in the Lithuanian market, Israel's Arkia, is scheduled to launch flights on the route starting May 21. Arkia will also operate three weekly flights throughout the summer.

Meanwhile, Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air plans to resume its Vilnius-Tel Aviv service in September.
